ADA Crypto Network Expands With a New Fund and Research Initiative

Cardano

Cardano's new cooperation in Switzerland will aid its growth.

cardano (ADA-USD) is a cryptocurrency that does not stay out of the news for long. The network is continually expanding its offerings and partnering with new companies, or it is courting governments in an attempt to increase cryptocurrency usagecardano news recently has a little bit of everything. To begin the month, a new partnership, several dapp achievements, and a growth fund are all hyping up ADA crypto holders.

The layer-1 network's smart contract capabilities have only been available for a little over a year. Developers have wasted no time in seeking to expand the platform in the months since. Indeed, founder Charles Hoskinson and his team have been traveling the world — primarily through Africa — to promote cryptocurrency's governmental applications. So far, they've had success forming alliances with the governments of Burundi and Ethiopia.

While its dapp products haven't taken off as quickly as expected, the network is nonetheless rapidly expanding. The network has around 900 dapps as of this week. While Hoskinson projected that Cardano would have thousands of dapps by now, the fact that 900 have been launched since mid-September is nonetheless impressive. Furthermore, the network has evolved.

Cardano's creators have demonstrated exceptional skill in expanding their network and encouraging its acceptance internationally. cardano news this week demonstrates that they are not slowing down.

Cardano news is dominated by funds and partnerships.

With this week's crypto news, Charles Hoskinson is taking his network to Europe for the first time. The cardano Foundation, which is at the heart of the cardano network, is collaborating on a three-year research project with the University of Zurich in Switzerland. The University of Zurich is a well-known crypto institution, with its Blockchain Center being one of the world's largest blockchain research institutions.

The collaboration benefits both parties. The institution will be able to harness an organization that powers one of the world's largest layer-1 networks. Zurich researchers may investigate several aspects of blockchain technology thanks to this collaboration. Using Cardano's chain as a starting point, professionals may investigate the nuances of various scaling solutions, security measures, and more. Cardano benefits from this study by being able to use it to help create and enhance its own network.

This follows a major announcement made last week about a Wave Financial ADA fund. The financial services firm said that it would contribute $100 million to the development of the cardano DeFi ecosystem. cardano can use the funds to provide liquidity to its network's developers, allowing them to construct powerful DeFi platforms and services.

While the cardano news is positive for users, the network cannot be saved from today's market. This morning, the ADA cryptocurrency is trading at a loss of roughly 4%.

Cardano Foundation and University of Zurich are expanding academic blockchain research.

Cardano's insights will be used by the university to perform more blockchain-related research.

Cardano Foundation has established a three-year agreement with the University of Zurich's Blockchain Center (UZH BCC) to further research efforts and explore blockchain education development.

The foundation will collaborate with the University of Zurich's Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies (BDLT) Group on research themes such as the efficacy of consensus protocols and the analysis of attack vectors specific to Ouroboros, among others.

According to Cardano Foundation CEO Frederik Gregaard, the relationship will allow the foundation to send information to UZH BCC in order to increase the university's expertise of the Cardano platform while also allowing Cardano to grow. Gregaard went on to say that:

As blockchain goes from the periphery to the mainstream, more academic study is needed to improve comprehension and, eventually, adoption. This is why, for the coming year, we have designated education as a fundamental mission of the foundation.

According to Dr. Claudio Tessone, a professor at the UZH, the relationship will benefit the university, and the Cardano Foundation's participation will be "invaluable to the co-creation of research questions and approaches."

Tessone stated that their organization's mission is to develop the blockchain area. He explained, "Our goal is to link micro-behavior to global features of blockchain-based systems."

At the recent MENA Climate Week event, organized by the United Nations and the Dubai government, the necessity of blockchain education was also emphasized. In the end, the panel agreed that the climate action community requires more informational and instructional content.

Meanwhile, institutions are flocking to the Cardano platform, according to a study from an intelligence group. On March 2022, the aggregated volume of Cardano (ADA) transactions above $100,000 surged by 51x.
